- Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Electrical): B.E or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering/Electrical and Electronics Engineering
- Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning): B.E or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Architecture): Degree in Architecture
- Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Civil) – Autonomous Body (PRL): B.E or B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’ (Architecture) – Autonomous Body (PRL): Degree in Architecture
