IPL 2025 Points Table After IPL Today Match Update: Punjab Kings have confirmed a spot for themselves in the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) Qualifier 1 with a comprehensive seven-wicket win over the Mumbai Indians at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Opener Priyansh Arya was among standout performers with the bat once again for PBKS, smashing 62 runs in 35 balls in their chase of 185. However, Josh Inglis was the one who arguably ended all chances of MI snatching a win by smacking 73 runs in just 42 balls. Captain Shreyas Iyer, who demoted himself to No.4, finished the chase off emphatically, smashing a six off over long on off Trent Boult in the 19th over and finishing unbeaten on 26 in 16 balls.
Suryakumar Yadav was earlier the star with the bat once again for Mumbai Indians, scoring 57 off 39 balls as the five-time champions finished their innings with a score of 184/7. It was a rather sluggish innings from MI with openers Ryan Rickelton and Rohit Sharma putting up a partnership off 45 runs in 5.1 overs. Hardik Pandya and Naman Dhir played a couple of useful hands at the death, with SKY falling to Arshdeep Singh who finished with figures of 2/28.
